I love this episode. Interestingly, I must note that the word Warrior, while it did bring up those more macho testosterone-soaked and violent associations, I admit that what immediately came to mind were powerful feminine archetypes and historical figures. I thought of 'warrior goddesses' like the Morrigan, Sekhmet and Athena. I thought of women like Boudicca and Joan of Arc, who went into combat in those examples, but also other women who embodied a 'warrior spirit', but never with actual combat or violence, such as Rosa Parks. And living examples like Greta Thunberg. I think being a warrior can indeed involve things like taking classes in self defence if one feels unsafe, but it's also about the sacred warrior spirit being embodied in quiet rebellion, nonviolent actions, and the use of our voices and words, music and art to fight against the systems that oppress us.

Yes, this is something I wish we'd had time to dive into more - we touched on it briefly with the mention of Boudica, but there's definitely so much more to explore. I love your vision of how the warrior spirit can be infused into daily life, beautiful examples! Maddy x
