In this week’s episode we explore what it means to have integrity, and why it’s perhaps more complex that it seems on the surface.
Why is the concept of integrity relevant right now?
Winter is a season associated with turning inward, and often as part of this process we find ourselves thinking about things like purpose and values.
For this reason, in our Rewilding Wheel framework the word we connect with November (the first month of winter) is root, because it sums up that idea of sinking in, going beneath the surface, and considering the foundations of our lives and our sense of self.
When we do this kind of work, especially around values, what we’re often seeking is a kind of anchor - something to hold us steady and guide our path. When we’re clear on our values, it becomes easier to make intentional, aligned decisions
One of the values that frequently comes up when we have these conversations as part of our Wild Academy work is integrity.
