A note from Eleanor
Last time I wrote to you, we were preparing to welcome the new Bramble moon. This week, the full moon is almost upon us, and I’ve been noticing and observing that shift, thinking how the wisdom of the lunar cycle can be an anchor through times of flux.
But if you’re new to this kind of cyclical living (or even if you’re not!), it can sometimes feel hard to really know what to do with this information. It’s the full moon - so what? And it can end up feeling like another thing on your to-do list, something you feel like you should be honouring, but life is full and you forget, or it passes by before you realise.
Here’s what’s important to know: there’s no ‘right’ way of honouring the lunar cycle. It doesn’t matter if you follow each phase with curiosity and consistency for five weeks, and then forget all about it for the next month. There’s no list of steps to follow, or tasks to tick off (although if you want to create this for yourself, you can!). Lunar living is all about tuning in to what you need in the moment, creating space and opportunity for honouring each ‘moon-thly’ cycle.
With all this in mind, it can, of course, still be helpful to receive invitations of how you might choose to connect, so here are a few ideas…
🌙 Welcome the wild symbology of each lunar cycle
We do this using our Rewilding Wheel that features in our cycle oracles, as well as resources in The Grove. This month, for instance, is the Bramble moon cycle, symbolic of self-expression, inner truth, passion and transformation. I’ve been connecting with how I really feel about my life right now, exploring how I can change what isn’t working.
🌙 Honour the new moon
The new moon corresponds to the season of winter, and offers a powerful invitation to pause, breathe, and rest. It’s all about connecting with your inner world, so you might like to set intentions for the cycle ahead, spend some time journaling, or develop your own new moon ritual. I particularly like to take a long, hot bath by candlelight, pull oracle cards, and do a slow, stretchy yoga practice with soft music.
🌙 Celebrate the full moon
The full moon corresponds to the season of summer, and reminds us to find joy in each day, and to connect with our life-force energy. You might join together with others or celebrate alone, but at this time try and ignite your inner fire and tune in to what it is you really desire. I love to get outside and moon-gaze at this point in the cycle, even if that means just looking out my window for a few minutes before heading to bed.
🌙 Bring lunar wisdom to work
You’ve probably heard about setting new moon intentions and moon-gazing before (even if they don’t feature in your life), but what about bringing the moon to work? You might choose to have an ‘inspiration day’ around the new moon, nourishing your creativity and soul, filling your cup ready for the cycle ahead. And as the moon waxes, you might lean in for more connection and community-building.
All these tips are of course just starting points, and there’s so much more to explore and consider if you’re ready to deepen your journey. I’d love to know what you do already to honour the moon cycle, or if you’re going to try any of these suggestions!

Celebrating the Autumn Equinox
Join us tomorrow to honour the second harvest festival in the Wheel of the Year. We’re gathering to honour the customs and traditions of the Autumn Equinox, connect with this reflective time of year, seek inspiration from the wisdom of the apple, and connect with our inner weaver, exploring how we can weave our own pathways this autumn and beyond.
